Summer Mission Mania
Mission mania is a two week event that takes place in the summer and reaches over 350 children and 100 teenagers in a huge marquee tent.
It incorporates three different events over a week.
Southside Junior Golf is for 8-11 year old boys or girls. Local professional golfers will take students through 2 days (4 sessions) of training that will enhance their game, no matter whatever their current ability. This course is for beginners and those who have been playing for a while. After the two days there is a competition at a local par 3 course and a certificate presented to the students.
Summer Soccer Week is open to boys and girls P1-P7 and will be run by SFA certified coaches. The morning will begin with football skills coaching to be followed by a juice break and a short ‘God Spot’ where participants can learn Bible Stories in a fun and imaginative way. The morning session will conclude with seven-a-side football matches.
The Holiday Club hapens every afternoon and is for children aged P1-P6. It is a fun event with dance, adventure, bible stories, games, drama, music and crafts.
Southside Youth Soccer Outreach is in the evenings and is for S1-S4 age. It is a seven-a-side football tournament that you can come along to on your own or get your friends together and come along as a team.
There are league and cup competitions throughout the week. Penalty kick competitions each night with prizes to be won.
