Transform Mission Trips
Transform Mission Trips are fantastic opportunities to share your faith in practical ways with people from other cultures. These short term mission trips are for people who are over 18 years old and wish to help communities outside the UK in practical ways.
These mission trips are often to areas where there is abject poverty and a real need to help communities out of the life they live and into a brighter future. Transform Mission teams link up with local Christian organisations that already work in these areas and know the needs of the community. Teams usually consist of approximately 15—20 people of mixed ages and skills bases.
Bulgaria
For many years now we have been sending teams back and forward to Bulgaria. Our link is with the Ludogorie Orphanage. This is a state run orphanage that houses children from ages 6-16 years. Touch The World U.K. has raised money this year to replace all the old, ill-fitting windows in the orphanage. We also have plans to help transform the inside of the building, by replacing flooring, decorating day rooms and bedrooms and improving their play areas.
